Seriously, when did he get so big? He is such a sweet kid and so much fun these days!
I love this picture and hate it at the same time because he doesn't look like a baby... he looks like a big boy. Stop growing Reggie, stop it now!
Reggie has started a new tradition at our house. When daddy gets home, if we're outside, which is most days, he hops in the car with daddy and gets to drive into the garage. It's really cute, so now Mya usually wants in on the action too.
And sometimes Dan lets them play in the car for a little while. Obviously Reggie loved it because he could not stop smiling. Sweet kid.
And last, I told Reggie to say cheese and this is the smile I got. I could not stop laughing. I haven't got him to do it again, so I'm glad I got it on camera. Anyway, Reggie is a good boy, full of smiles and giggles and a few tantrums here and there. He loves saying "uh oh" and "dada" which he calls me and dan, even though he can say "mama." Oh well. He loves to dance and spin around. And he loves being together as a family. His little face lights up when we're all hanging out together. Love that kiddo.

Mya loves Jim Croce
Mya has been listening to a little Jim Croce with me lately and there are a few songs she has really taken to and even memorized. The video is a little long and please excuse her messy hair, but the end is where she sings all by herself, so hang in there, it's pretty cute. :)

Good morning beautiful
I get to spend every day with this gorgeous girl. Some days are not as much fun as others, but such is life. Not every day is roses. But most days with this little love are just fabulous. She is sweet, seriously silly, and so smart.
She loves giving kisses and big squeezes to me, daddy, and brother.
She is so complimentary, saying things like, "You're doing such a good job, mommy!" and "You're such a nice mommy." She makes me feel so good.
She loves to jumble her words and make funny words or sing a song and put your name into it somewhere surprising, like "Row row row your mommy..." And then she just cracks up and says, "I'm cracking up!"
Miss Mya Jae is my love. And on a day when the whole parenting thing is baffling me and I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing, she is sweet and precious and makes me feel like I can do it. Thanks Mya for being such a good girl for me and Daddy. We love you bunches.

What a month!
We have had such a fun, but crazy month getting used to our new house and adjusting to me working from home. We have three new friends that come over and play with us during the day. It's been fun, but exhausting. :) Below are some pics from the other night, just playing around as a family.
Don't mind my messy mirror. Whoever designed mirror doors did not have small children. Anyway, still a cute moment between siblings, right?
This girl cracks me up. She was so excited to get her new sunglasses from target.
Doesn't Mya look so old here? What a pretty girl.
And I captured my sweet boy who hardly stands still long enough to take his picture. He's just got such a busy schedule. It goes a little something like this: snuggle with mom, run around, throw something, snuggle with mom, find a car, fight with sister, play with sister, snuggle mom, climb on something, climb some more, fall, cry, snuggle mom, and repeat. And that's our day, plus four other kiddos... gotta love it.

More Pictures!
The following are some random, but oh so cute pictures of our little family over the Christmas break.
Above is Mima "reading" to Mya and Reggie. It's a recordable book so they have been able to listen to Mima read everyday since they got home as well. Mya loves this book because she loves to hear Mima say her name in the book! Thanks Mima!
Me and the the best in-laws ever at Christmas eve. We had a great laid back evening, which was very fun.
Are these not the most beautiful girls you've ever seen? I love love love this picture of the beautiful Barnes girls.
This was taken on Dan's birthday. We went out to dinner with Dan's parents and the kids and had a great night. I love my hubby!
Last but not least, my pretty girl. I curled my hair one day and she wanted hers to look like mine, so to-da! Isn't she precious?

Christmas time again
I really don't feel like uploading a ton of pics from the last few weeks, so here are the best ones from our family Christmas.
Mya and Reggie both got bean bags this Christmas and they loved them and still love them. They lounge on them all the time and have so much fun. It's pretty cute.
Reggie got his first toothbrush for Christmas. He's a little obsessed with brushing his teeth, just like Mya is. Not sure why, but I suppose that's a good thing. And his p.j.'s are not unzipped, his zipper broke, so that's why they're split open.
Mya got a Minnie Mouse bicycle this Christmas as she specifically requested months ago. As you can tell, she really loved it!
And this last picture is of my babies looking at the lights at Krug Park in St. Joe. Both kids thoroughly enjoyed it. We brought popcorn and candycanes for the family outing and we had a great time. We took the kids last year as well so I think it's going to be a new family tradition. Well, that's it for now. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
