Those of you with kids know that some days are more predictable than others. Those of you without kids are probably smart enough to know that kids are just like adults... some days you just feel like being grumpy. Anyway, I think it's safe to say Mya has entered the "terrible two's" stage of her childhood. She's only 18 months, but as with most things in her life, the terrible two's have come a little early. She is pretty structured child, with a set routine, but that doesn't seem to have any meaning when it comes to a day where she just doesn't want to listen. Here is a snapshot of how her mood changes from day to day. Enjoy!
My sweet girl, playing in our spare room, eating cheerios! Love that smile!
My naughty girl, after she has drawn all over her shirt with dry erase marker, which is why she has no shirt. Also, if you look closely, she's drawn all over her hand and her knee. And I just have to add, this is NOT the first time she has done this. She is supposed to know better!
My sweet girl is back... styling in her new super cute Target outfit. Probably standing watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Imagination Movers. She usually prefers to stand instead of sit... funny girl!
Now, Mya was not being naughty in this picture because I gave her permission to play with mommy's money. But doesn't she just look like she's doing something she's not supposed to?
Here's little missy with her new magna doodle. She was so excited to play with it and has played with it basically everyday since she got it!
My favorite picture! No matter how bad those terrible two's are raging, this sweet little girl is in there somewhere! Remembering that makes the rough days a little more bearable!

Yeah for pictures!
I'm going to attempt to play catch up with some pictures from weeks ago that I'm just now putting up. The first ones are of our trip to Nebraska. We went to visit our friends Adam and Lindsey and their adorable daughters Cami and Audrey. Cami and Mya are only a month apart. And baby Audrey just joined their family about a month and a half ago. Anyway, here is Cami and Mya ready for nap, clearly, with their binks and their woobie/bunny. Too cute, right? Mya loves her friend so much. They played so well together!
Here is miss Audrey, all cute and cozy in daddy's arms. She's absolutely adorable!
Ok, those of you who really know Mya, know that she is a kisser. She loves giving kisses, especially to animals. If you know that, you also know that her kisses more often than not, end up being more like head-butts. Here she is giving Adam and Lindsey's dog Birkley a "kiss." What a silly girl!
Moving on to Papa's birthday. Mya just had to be in on the action, so she stood next to him the whole time while we sang happy birthday to him. She was so excited, it was like we were singing it to her!
Last but not least, we have Easter photos! This year instead of dying eggs, we made them out of rice krispy treats and dipped them in chocolate, butterscotch, sprinkles, etc. It was a ton of fun trying to make them because rice krispy is very sticky! I walked away the least messy by far! Mom and Jordan just couldn't compete with my egg molding skills!
Below is a picture of my parents, with my niece Jordan, and Mya, and even a little bit of my parent's dog, Dodge. My parents yard was perfect for an Easter egg hunt!
Here is Jordan and my nephew Dorian! Dorian is going to be two soon. He's such a big boy and such a good little brother. And Jordan is a great big sister! Love those kiddos! My other nephew Perry was napping, I think.
This is Mya at Aunt Vicki's house. She was trying to sneak some candy in before we were all done. I had to get a picture of it. You can just tell by her face she knows she's not supposed to be eating that. This is a very normal face for her, usually when she's caught getting into mommy's purse though!
Well, that's it for now. I am in the second trimester of pregnancy with baby number two and feeling good so far. The sonogram will be the next big thing in just a few short weeks! We'll keep everyone updated for sure!
