Basketball, Baby Boys, and Birthdays

Basketball season is winding down, but not quite done yet. Dan's parents came up for a game a week ago and we had a great time with them, as usual. Debi snapped this family photo real quick before we left for the game.
And then I snapped this one of them enjoying the game with the kiddos. Mya is obviously completely into the game.
Mya loves Daddy's basketball games and cheers so loud for him and the boys!
The next day, Dan and I got to visit my friend's new baby boy, Bodie. He's absolutely precious, all 6 lbs, 8 oz of him. I love snuggling babies.
And last, but not least, we celebrated Sarah's birthday. I just love this picture of her. We had a great time and we got to leave the kids with the grandparents! Yay!

Elmo Live and other things

We've had a busy last week. A lot of fun things and some not so fun. Here's what we've been up to.
Reggie got his first taste of rice cereal. He wasn't a huge fan. He took a few bites, but he scrunched his little face up after every bite. We only gave him a little bit, and this is what he looked like when we were all done. So funny!
Mya got to see the Elmo show and she loved it! We went with our best friends, Lindsey and Cami. Cami was super excited as you can see.
This is how Mya looked the entire time. She was absolutely mesmerized. She and Cami both sat so still the entire hour and a half event. I was super impressed with them. They both loved when they put stars on the ceiling and sang twinkle twinkle little star. It was so fun to see them having so much fun!
Then when our fun weekend was over, Mya took a spill at Target. She fell out of the cart all the way to the floor and I'm pretty sure her face broke her fall. She looked really banged up that night, but she was pretty much all better the next day, aside from a bruise by her ear. She's a little trooper.
Dan's been super busy with basketball games(all away games, boo) but thankfully, basketball season doesn't last much longer. The varsity boys are pretty good and we're hoping we can take a trip to Hays for state. We'll see. In the mean time, we're going to enjoy the weather, which seems to be warming up slowly. Bring on the spring!
