Nothing much

Things have been very calm around here lately, which is good. I went to see Lindsey in Kearney last week, which was wonderful. We went out to lunch at Ruby Tuesday(I love their salad bar), got pedicures, and did a little shopping. It was wonderful. Then this weekend, Dan and I relaxed and went to Hays for an afternoon. We really just have not been doing much. We are getting ready to go to Minnesota for a family reunion on Dan's side. That should be interesting. I have never been to Minnesota and I'm so excited to go to the mall of America, or "the great mall" as I like to call it. So we'll get back Monday, the 7th and I'll have an update with pictures then. But for now, I just have a picture of me and the baby bump at 20 weeks! Halfway there...

Crazy days and bathroom fixes

Wow, things have been so busy around here and time has just been flying by! We had an amazing trip to Topeka and Abilene and got to spend good quality time with his family and mine. We went to two weddings and I got to catch up with friends from high school, which was so fun. Sadly, I do not have any picture of it. That's a first for me. And then last week, Dan ripped up the carpet in the bathroom... finally! Seriously, who has carpet in a bathroom? That's just gross. So now it's gone. And this week, I'm just trying to get caught up at work and enjoy the summer. Here are some fun pictures of the bathroom fix.

Here's my handy man cleaning up the floor after the carpet had been ripped out. I really should have taken a picture of the carpet, but I didn't. Then you could see how gross it was.
Here's my toilet in the office on the floor. I just thought it was funny.
And here is the sort of end project. It's not entirely done, but we've been procrastinating on finishing the little section by the tub. But it's mostly done and I think it looks gorgeous!

And this is my 19 week picture. Not too much change, but we're getting there.

Quick Update

Dan and I have been enjoying our summer so far and are getting ready for a fun weekend trip to Topeka and Abilene for some family time, a golf tournament, two weddings, and Father's Day! It will be busy, but will be so fun! I always love getting out of P-burg for a few days! Anyway, here are some pictures from last weekend when we got semi-dressed up and went out to a nice dinner. It's not something we do very often, so it was a lot of fun!

Summer time!

Last week my eight year old niece Jordan came to stay with me and Dan. We had a lot of fun together even though the weather wasn't the best. Dan had basketball camp all week and Jordan would just wander around the house asking when he was going to get home. She just loves her Uncle Dan. I guess he's more fun to play with than me. I didn't mind.

Jordan thought it would be fun to take some pictures with my camera. I thought her pictures were so funny. She always wanted either me or Dan to come to her party in her bedroom and the picture that Jordan took of Dan laying down is when he was at her party. He looks like he's having so much fun. The one nice day we did have, we bought an inflatable swimming pool and went swimming! Jordan loved it even though the water was pretty cold! We ended up having a great week and we were happy she got to stay with us.

Then yesterday, Dan and I took five girls to the circus for Big Brothers Big Sisters. It was a small circus, and I have to say, not exactly what I was expecting. There were some impressive parts, like the trapeze artist who was swinging from a bar by her neck. I was worried she would fall and there were hard boards on the ground underneath her that would not have been fun to have break your fall. And of course, I loved the elephants. Anyway, here is a cute picture of me with the girls.

And last, but not least, here is my 16 week picture. I definitely feel bigger than last week!
